TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT

1. THE NATURE OF THIS WORK

Human Design analysis, guidance, and coaching as offered through HumanDesign.nz is provided for educational, informational, and personal development purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.

This work is designed to support your self-awareness, inner alignment, and personal empowerment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical, mental, or emotional condition. If you are currently working with a mental health professional, medical practitioner, or other licensed provider, I encourage you to continue that relationship. Please consult a qualified professional for any concerns in those areas.

 2. YOUR AUTHORITY — YOUR DECISIONS

All guidance offered through sessions, courses, and programmes is grounded in your Human Design chart and my professional experience. However, all guidance is offered as input only. You are encouraged — and expected — to filter everything through your own Strategy and Authority as part of your own deconditioning experiment.

Your decisions are your own. I am not responsible for choices, actions, or outcomes — whether perceived as positive or negative — that arise from your engagement with this work. This work is fundamentally about accessing your own empowerment and inner alignment. The wisdom is yours. I am here as a guide and witness.

 3. ACCURACY OF BIRTH DATA

All Human Design analysis is based entirely on the birth data you provide. Prior to your session or programme commencement, I will confirm that your birth data has been accurately transcribed into your chart.

By engaging my services, you acknowledge that the accuracy of any reading or guidance is contingent on the accuracy of the birth data provided. If birth data is later found to be incorrect, I cannot be held responsible for analysis provided in good faith based on that information.

 4. CHART SPECIFICITY

Every Human Design chart is unique. All guidance provided is specific to your individual chart and your particular life-circumstances. It is not transferable to another person, even where charts appear superficially similar. Human Design operates at a level of nuance and complexity that makes direct comparison between charts unreliable without full individual analysis.

5. RECORDING AND STORAGE OF SESSIONS

Where sessions are recorded, a recording will be made available to you following your session. You are responsible for downloading and securely storing your recording promptly upon receipt. While I make every reasonable effort to retain session recordings, I cannot guarantee their ongoing availability and accept no liability for recordings that become unavailable after delivery to you.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COURSE MATERIALS

All course materials, recordings, meditations, body scans, written content, and associated resources offered through My Human Design Experiment and any other programmes are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of 88 Degrees Limited.

You are warmly encouraged to engage with and apply the learning in your own life. You are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, teach from, or commercialise any materials without express written agreement from 88 Degrees Limited. Any proposed use of materials beyond personal application is situation-dependent and may be subject to a formal written agreement and financial arrangement.

7. CONFIDENTIALITY

All personal information shared in the context of sessions and programmes is held in confidence. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your written consent, except where required by law.

Sessions delivered online are subject to the security and privacy policies of the platforms used. While these platforms employ standard security measures, no digital platform can guarantee complete security. By participating in online sessions, you accept the inherent privacy limitations of digital communication.

Your personal information is collected, held, and used in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

8. YOUR IDENTITY AND CONTACT DETAILS

By engaging my services, you confirm that the personal details and contact information you have provided are a true and accurate representation of yourself. Services are provided in good faith on the basis of this confirmation.

9. NOT THERAPY — KNOWING YOUR EDGES

This work can be profoundly transformative. As consciousness expands, it is natural to encounter emotions, memories, or patterns that feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar. This is part of the process of deconditioning.

However, this work is not therapy and is not designed for people currently experiencing acute mental health crises, severe psychological distress, or active trauma. If at any point you feel you need professional mental health support, I encourage you to seek it without hesitation. This work can be a powerful complement to therapeutic support — it is not a replacement for it.

10. PAYMENT

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). For reference, approximate USD conversions may be indicated alongside NZD pricing. These conversions are indicative only — exchange rates fluctuate and you are encouraged to check the current conversion rate on the day of purchase. All payments are processed and received in NZD.

88 Degrees Limited is registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) in New Zealand. All prices displayed are GST inclusive.

Full payment is required prior to commencement of services. Where Progress Payments are available, the specific conditions of the applicable payment schedule must be met in full. Payment in full, or the first in a series of Progress Payments, confirms your acceptance of these Terms of Engagement and your commitment to completing all subsequent payments as agreed.

11. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Where notice is provided outside of this window, rescheduling will be accommodated where possible.

Sessions cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled time are payable in full. Sessions cancelled within this period may not be eligible for rescheduling and the session fee may be forfeited.

Pathway programmes and courses are non-refundable once commenced, as materials, course access and session time are allocated upon enrolment.

Exceptions to this policy may be considered at my sole discretion in the case of unforeseen personal emergencies. Any such exceptions are offered as a gesture of goodwill and do not constitute a waiver of this policy.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

In circumstances beyond my reasonable control — including illness, natural events, or technological failure — I will make every effort to minimise disruption and honour my commitments. Where a session cannot proceed as scheduled for these reasons, an alternative time will be offered.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Engagement are governed by the laws of New Zealand, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair-Trading Act 1986, and the Privacy Act 2020. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer law. 

14. ACCEPTANCE

By booking a session, enrolling in a programme, or purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Engagement.
